The Democrats Panic Room

What are Mid Term Elections: These are elections that occur every four years when the American electorate votes for members of Congress, but not the President.

I live in Toronto which is about an hour and a half drive from the state of New York and I tell you the American mid term is a hot topic here and at the UFT campus. The President has lost his connection with the American people and has become so arrogant. What a shift in the mood of the people from 2 years ago. People are now angry about their homes being foreclosed upon, at the media for hiding the fact of the true hole that America has found herself in, they are fed up with Washington giving money to the rich instead of helping the poor, the people are so mad, they are not thinking straight and sadly the only alternative is this Tea Party Movement? What has become of this country, it has become so divided.

President Obama has abandoned his own rhetoric of bipartisanship, the changing of Washington and the crack down on lobbyists- oh yes we all know the exchange of money that have been going to the lobbyists especially regarding his Health Care reform; Sad to say that he has become exactly what he was campaigning against.

The possibility is very high that the Democrats will suffer a heavy defeat tomorrow in the mid term elections. They may not control their BFF congress, and now they are panicking and scrambling for votes like they have just drank a jug of coffee and now is finally awake loool; When Scott Brown won Mr Ted Kennedy’s senate seat in Massachusetts wasn’t that enough of a wake up call? Now everyday I hear on CNN and some of the other networks including the late night comedy shows such as Jimmy Stewart, how the Obama administration is relentless with the blame Bush line, yapping about all the jobs they have created, blaming the republicans for stopping other measures etc etc Enough Already! My generation is not stupid, we are capable and educated and its time to stop with all the bull and get back to the basics. No one thought that it would be a cake walk getting the economy back to par but we certainly did not expect our parents generation to stick us with their bill….Trillions of dollars bill 

Well, there’s been one positive that I saw yesterday regarding the Democrats from a reliable poll that showed the majority of Americans still trust President Obama with the economy over the Republicans by a margin of 43-26 go figure!
